We are happy to partner with one of our favorite quaffs, Nektar Liqueur [LINK], crafted in Italy and based in Chesapeake.
And while its great as a beverage, it is also awesome as an ingredient in cooking. Here is a recipe for Nektar Wings – perfect for the Big Game or just because.
Recipe after the Jump
Ingredients
1 pound chicken wings, cut into segments
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
¼ cup Nektar Liqueur
¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon agave syrup
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon adobo sauce
½ tablespoon freshly cracked pepper
½ teaspoon salt
Method
Preheat oven or grill to 350F.
Season the wings with salt and pepper. Arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet in a single layer. Put in the preheated oven and cook for 45 minutes.
Remove the wings from the oven to a bowl and allow to cool. Cover and refrigerate until ready to finish at the event on the barbecue.
In a gallon-size zip-top bag add Nektar Liqueur, lime juice, agave syrup, lime zest, cumin, adobo, pepper and salt, close, and shake to combine.
Preheat a grill or grill pan to 350F. Add the wings and cook for 10 to 15 minutes to reheat and get some grill marks, turning after 7 minutes. Remove the wings from the grill to a serving bowl. Add the sauce and toss to combine
Yields 2-4 servings
