Honey Cream Cheese Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup local honey
Other Ingredients
4-5 pieces thick cut raisin bread or fruit-and-nut bread
Everything Bagel Spice
Green onion, sliced; green parts only
Method
Make the honey cream cheese: in a medium bowl add cream cheese and honey and stir to incorporate. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Make the toast: preheat oven to 375F. Cut off bread crusts and slice from corner-to-corner diagonally to make four triangles per slice. Place the triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet and place in the oven until bread becomes crisp and golden, about 15 minutes. Turn each triangle once during toasting.
Assemble: dollop about a teaspoon of honey cream cheese on each toast point, slightly pressing down, and sprinkle with Everything Bagel Spice. Garnish with sliced green onion.
